H3 Treated Pine timber is extremely durable but when exposed over time to the Australian outdoor elements it’ll eventually discolour and turn grey. Staining with a water based product only covers the surface of the timber where as, Oil Based Stains like the one we use penetrates and absorbed into the timer to provide a longer lasting finish.

We recommend that you should re-stained your frame every 3 – 5 years some time longer as this helps to protect your timber from splitting and discolouring as this will especially depend on the Australian climate and the conditions it’s surrounded by.
